Defence Industry Collab Meetings
The primary objective of the Defence Industry Collab Initiative is to improve collaboration between Security and Estate Group, especially the Infrastructure Division and industry partners, to facilitate the efficient and effective delivery of capital works programs and supporting services relevant to estate and infrastructure planning, while also growing industry’s capacity to respond to Department of Defence requirements.
The Defence Industry Collab Initiative meets four times per year in Canberra with our CollabX event one of the four gatherings. Meetings are arranged by Consult Australia with participants involved on a rotational basis. At each meeting there will be:
- up to 10 Defence representatives from the Security and Estate Group including at the Assistant Secretary and Director General levels
- five consultancy company representatives who are Consult Australia members
- three construction company representatives who are Australian Construction Association members
- three construction company representatives who are non-ACA members
- one Indigenous Business Enterprise representative.
